Jason is growing up

This morning while Jer and I were making breakfast Jason came up to us and said after your done lets do family and dad you will pray. Jer and i said OK when we are done. Not really knowing what he was talking about. He has this note book that is 3X5 or so and some pages are colored and others are still blank, he took some out of the note book and was holding them. When we went into the front room were he wanted us we sat down and Jer gave us a prayer like Jason had told him, then he laid his blank papers on the coffee table. We asked what we were doing and he said family and by that time i figured he was meaning a family night sort of like Jer and i had done in the past we would put church pic out on the table and talk about what was going on in the picture. So Jason pointed at one and said Jesus died. We said Jesus died for us and Jason said yes.
The next picture was Jesus baptised now remember the papers are actually blank. We said yes Jesus was baptized in the river, we also said and you will be baptized when you turn 8. At first he said no and i asked why he told me he didn't want water in his eyes, and we told him he could close them and then he was OK with it.
The last picture was CTR, and he said he chose the right and we said yes you do chose the right and you mind and are really good. he said really shy like yes and then we were done he was ready to go on with the day.

Later today Jer told me that Jason did a family lesson to Jer again.

Man this kid is so cute and sure dose know how to make us proud of him. Cant believe he will be four soon.
